This is a framed limited edition print of one of my original fine art paintings (1/100).
The original work was completed in acrylic on canvas and represents many hours of work, using techniques I have been developing for over my 25 years as an artist.
It shows two white hydrangea flowers on a white cloth against a pink background. The flowers are in a glass vase and in water. In this painting soft light is coming from the righthand side of the frame. The flowers, the glass and water, and they way they interact with the light are rendered in close detail, edging towards photorealistic but retaining a painterly quality and warmth.
Its these subtle interplays of colour and light that inspire me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed painting it.
